Bob's Home Services LLC · Last updated October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information Bob's Home Services LLC ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, our text messages and emails, and the work we do for you.
Who we are
Bob's Home Services LLC is a home repair and maintenance business in Havelock, North Carolina. You can reach us at (252) 460-2024 or [email protected].
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, company, phone number, email, the property's address, a description of the problem, photos or video, and notes about the visit (for example, pets, best times, or how to reach the tenant).
- What a property manager gives us about a job: the property, the work requested, and the tenant's name and contact details so we can schedule the work.
- Records of the work: estimates, approvals, work orders, photos of the work, invoices and payments.
- This website: we use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server records (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site, and may use a security check on our request form to stop automated spam.
How we use it
To answer your request, write estimates, schedule and do the work, send invoices and receipts, keep the records the law and our taxes require, and contact you about your job. After a job is paid for, we may email you once to ask for a Google review — every paying customer is asked the same way, and nothing is offered in return.
Text messages
We text customers, tenants and property managers about their service requests: scheduling, arrival, and estimates.
- Message frequency varies with your request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (252) 460-2024.
- Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in information are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not send review requests or promotions by text.
- Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.
You agree to receive these texts when you give us your number for a request — on our request form, by calling or texting us, or through your property manager. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Tenants: when a property manager gives us your number for a repair at your home, we text you only about that job — scheduling, arrival, and the status of parts. We never send tenants promotions, seasonal messages or review requests. Our first text tells you who we are, why we are texting, and that you can reply STOP to opt out. Anything beyond texts about your job needs your own consent, and tenant numbers are never added to a marketing list.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed to do the work and run the business:
- with the property manager or owner of the property the work is for;
- with the services we use to run the business — our phone and text-message provider, our email, and our website host — only so they can provide that service to us;
- with our accountant, our insurer, or when the law requires it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos of the work
We photograph work before and after for our records, the estimate and the invoice. We show photos of a job on this website only with the customer's or the property manager's permission, and never with an address or a person's name.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the work, our records and the law — business and tax records are kept for several years.
Keeping it safe
Our records are kept on our own computer, backed up, and protected by passwords. Information sent through this website is encrypted on its way to us. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if your information is affected by a problem we learn of.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where the law lets us. Call (252) 460-2024 or write to [email protected].
Children
This website and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its date.
